Acceptable Losses Demo

Acceptable Losses DEMO is a phase-based WWI management game. Assign squads to missions, face random events, and manage the endless paperwork of war. Navigate morale, fatigue, and cohesion across a brutal 10-day trench campaign.

About Acceptable Losses Demo

You are not the hero. You’re in charge.

In Acceptable Losses DEMO, you're the officer behind the lines. Make hard calls, assign missions, and push paperwork while your men bleed for inches of mud.

Each day brings new orders. Assign squads to patrols, trench repairs, or suicidal assaults. At night, manage the incoming paperwork. Read incident reports, check medical updates, scan intel briefings, and hope for reinforcements.

Balance your duty to HQ with the lives of the men under your command. After ten days in the trenches, you will be sent back to HQ for the final review. If you make it that long...

20+ Missions including both mundane and suicidal

15+ Modifiers ranging from morale and fatigue to weather and enemy defense state

40+ Mid-Mission Events impacting mission modifiers and outcomes

15+ Night Events modifying your squads, trench condition, supplies, and more

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes. Acceptable Losses Demo is free right now on Steam, with nothing to pay.

Is this the full game?

No. A demo is a portion of Acceptable Losses Demo — usually the opening section — published so you can try it. It is free permanently, but it is not the complete game.

Where do I claim it?

On the official Steam page. We link straight there — we never host game files or act as a middleman.
